Why should you read about me?

Hi, my name is Lauren.

Please allow me to introduce myself…

I am one of those few people who were lucky enough to be born and raised on Vancouver Island. Some interesting facts about me are that I am the youngest of 8 children. I hate chocolate. I won nationals for Synchronized swimming in Canada. I have traveled throughout 25 countries and still counting. I haven’t cut my hair in over 5 years (its curly so the length never changes the curls just get tighter- I wish it was longer) and I own a 99-cent gold fish named Killer who’s 3rd birthday will be January 19th 2011!

I am a forth year student at Camosun College, currently enrolled in the Bachelors of Business Administration- specializing in Marketing Communications and Leadership management.

I am an outgoing, bubbly person who is driven, creative, passionate, educated and opinionated. Just ask my boy friend how many arguments he wins! I strive to the fullest in everything I do, and pride myself in my work ethic.

Now… to answer your question why should you read about me?

I am not really sure… for there is nothing about me that is more interesting than anyone else could write about.

All I can tell you is this… I am at one of the many crossroads in my life where the next step is unknown. Each crossroad only happens once in a lifetime and continually poses a choice that will alter the direction of my life whether I like or not. These always are tough on me for I struggle with a bad case of the ‘what if?’ syndrome.

If you are in the same boat, or even interested in my unknown future you may find this blog interesting.

As always I am on the hunt for self discovery- do you think I will ever find it?
